Coronavirus: Public transport, Mental Health Awareness and immigration

Qasa discusses public transport as lockdown eases and people return to work and he is also joined by immigration expert Harjap Bhangal.

First Qasa gets a round-up of the latest coronavirus news from our reporter Dil Neiyyar. Then we hear from those who have been using public transport to travel to work during lockdown as measures are put in place on trains and at stations to maintain social distancing. Dr Fozia Hayat, an anaesthetist at Bradford Royal Infirmary, tells Qasa she received abuse after calling out fake news on WhatsApp. After that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Asian Network joins hundreds of radio stations around the country to hear a one minute message to recognise the importance around Mental Health Awareness Week. Qasa wants your questions for this week’s guru – immigration expert, Harjap Bhangal. Plus, over the last few weeks, we’ve been hearing from British citizens who’ve been stranded abroad during the coronavirus pandemic. Qasa hears from Rachna and Bushra Anwar who have managed to make it back from India and Pakistan
