Timmy Mallet, Traverse theatre monologues and Edwin Morgan's centenary

Timmy Mallet, Edwin Morgan's 100th birthday and the Traverse theatre monologues on YouTube

Janice chats to Lauren Gilmore from band The Girl Who Cried Wolf and singer songwriter Becci Wallace about musical collaboration during lockdown. We hear two new tracks made in isolation in collaboration with a song writing group made up of them and other musicians around Scotland.

Playwright Rona Munro and director Caitlin Skinner will be discussing Five From Inside; the Traverse Theatre’s series of YouTube monologues and how theatre can still connect to audiences despite the lockdown.

We’ll be celebrating musicals with Billy Differ and talking to Robyn Marsack, friend of the late poet Edwin Morgan, ahead of his centenary celebrations this year.

Plus another chance to hear our chat with Timmy Mallet and the launch of our new listener quiz – Secret Song.

Make A Difference RNIB director James Adams talks about the extra challenges for 170,000 Scots living with sight loss and the support available.
