Archbishop Leo Cushley of St Andrews and Edinburgh shares an Easter message of hope in these quite extraordinary times.
It’s an Easter Sunday like no other, and perhaps more than ever the Easter message of hope is something from which we can all take solace. Archbishop Leo Cushley of St Andrews and Edinburgh shares an Easter message in these quite extraordinary times. He is joined by Martin Palmer, theologian, author and environmentalist, and Dr Linden Bicket, from the University of Edinburgh’s School of Divinity, to talk about holding on to hope in the most difficult of times.
Nadine Andrews who works in the field of mindfulness and nature-based coaching, takes us on a walk in nature, to observe the changes that Spring brings. Linden Bicket and Martin Palmer discuss the unexpected effects of the virus on the environment and on our landscapes, and celebrate the renewal that comes with Spring.
Actress and musician Lorraine McIntosh and husband and fellow band member Ricky Ross - along with Thérèse Mema Mapenzi who has worked for 13 years in the Democratic Republic of Congo helping women affected by sexual violence – share inspirational stories of post-conflict work that Lorraine and Ricky heard about after a recent visit organised by SCIAF.
