Sea Savers, Outdoor Theatre and Daffodils

Join Mark Stephen and Laura Guthrie for the latest outdoor activities from Shetland to the Borders, plus the key stories for those who live and work in the countryside.

We speak live to vice president of the National Farmers Union of Scotland, Martin Kennedy, about how the Covid-19 pandemic is impacting their members and the industry more widely.

Last week Euan met the Ullapool Sea Savers group. A well informed and dedicated group of young people who have come together to raise awareness of the challenges facing their local marine environment and to celebrate and promote all that is wonderful about the sea.

Mark goes for a wander along Forvie Sands and takes in all the sights and sounds.

RSPB Loch Leven is home to a host of wildlife as Mark found out when he visited last week.

We speak live to Sarah Robinson, director of conservation with the Scottish Wildlife Trust, about ways people can still interact with nature while keeping safe.

Over the past few days, many activities have been cancelled in an attempt to slow down the spread of coronavirus. But various groups have been coming up with creative solutions to keep things going. Helen meets one such group in Stonehaven.

Ex-mountain rescue team member and friend of the programme "Heavy" Whalley calls in to let us know what鈥檚 going on in the hills.

And as Thursday 19th March marked the spring equinox, Euan takes a look at one of the brightest signs of spring, the daffodil.
