Craig’s Forty Funky Albums #38 Charles Bradley – No Time For Dreaming

Craig counts down his Forty Funky albums and at number 38 it’s Charles Bradley with No Time For Dreaming.

Craig counts down his Forty Funky albums and at number 38 it’s Charles Bradley with No Time For Dreaming. Before Charles Bradley put out music under his own name, he worked as a James Brown impersonator or as he would say a James Brown duplicator. But in 2011 he was spotted by the Daptone record label and given the opportunity to record under his own name. He recorded 14 tracks which told the story of his childhood, to the days of homelessness and heartache which formed the album ‘No Time For Dreaming’.
