Government accused of bad faith over Stormont financial package as Julian Smith tells our politicians to sort out their priorities.
An "act of bad faith" - that's how the finance minister Conor Murphy has described the financial package offered by Westminster to support the Stormont deal.
One billion pounds of new money is on the table.
Another billion is expected to be added as an automatic result of spending plans for the entire UK.
Last night in a series of tweets Secretary of State Julian Smith said "Let鈥檚 remember MLAs have been off work 3yrs at a cost of 拢15m+ in salaries.
There will be a new deal for NI as it leaves the EU. There is also a UK budget in spring. 拢2bn is biggest ever NI talks settlement & it addresses a number of key issues.
Mr Smith also the parties need to sort their priorities.
