Jim is floored and doesn鈥檛 want to discuss it further. He鈥檚 dead, what more is there to say? Later, Jim apologises for his outburst. He鈥檇 always envisaged being able to meet Harold and make him confront his wrong-doings. Now he鈥檚 gone to his grave never knowing the pain he鈥檚 caused. By dying, Harold鈥檚 won.
