Originally from Bolton, the comedy actor and writer made her name as Philomena Cunk, which originated on Charlie Booker鈥檚 Weekly Wipe tv series.

Due to the popularity of the character, the 成人快手 commissioned two one-off specials fronted by Philomena; the first was BAFTA-nominated Cunk on Shakespeare and the second a festive special, Cunk on Christmas.

A five part 成人快手 Two series, Cunk on Britain, followed and Diane also stars in the 成人快手 Two comedy series Motherland. The critically acclaimed show was co-written by previous Wise Woman Sharon Horgan.
