Health unions are asked to reconsider a fresh pay offer which they've rejected as not enough.

Trade unions have rejected a fresh pay offer to health workers. It follows a meeting with the Department of Health yesterday evening over ongoing industrial action. It's in protest at pay and staffing levels. The Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health, Richard Pengelly, urged trade unions to reflect on the offer again and suspend industrial action.
