Vinyl Enthusiast Graham Sharpe
Vinyl enthusiast Graham Sharpe shares his favourite records from the decade.
Vinyl enthusiast Graham Sharpe shares his favourite records from the decade.
Graham Sharpe’s vinyl love affair began as a teenager, and since then he has amassed over 3000 LPs. After retiring, he made it his mission to visit every surviving secondhand record shop across the world, a journey he has written about in his new book 'Vinyl Countdown'. Stories in the book include the author giving Elton John his first significant media break; Elvis Presley costing him his job; how as an employee of a big betting firm, he ‘invented’ betting on the Christmas Number One; and his close friendship with Screaming Lord Sutch.
Also on the show, Johnnie delves into the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Archive to hear the stories from This Week In Music and adds another classic 7" single to Johnnie's Jukebox.
