James Morrison, PopMaster and the Love Song
James Morrison, the multi-million selling singer songwriter picks his favourite songs in the Tracks of My Years. Ken also has another round of the PopMaster music quiz.
James Morrison, the Brit Award winning singer songwriter, picks his Tracks of My Years with songs from Paul Simon and Chuck Berry. His latest album, Stronger Than You Know, harks back to the Stax and Motown eras that James loves and is the album that he's always wanted to make. When James was working on the follow up to his 2015 album, Higher Than Here, his relationship with partner Gill hit tough times and he lost his natural song writing instinct. However, writing songs with no particular end goal in mind, he overcame his struggles and realised that he had some of the best material of his career. For the first time in his career James made the record with one producer, Mark Taylor, and made the album at British Grove Studios in London. James has achieved two number one albums, five top ten singles and sold over five million records over his career.
Ken's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's love song. There's also the record and album of the week.
