Presenter John Urquhart guides learners through the intricacies of the Gaelic language, dialects, idioms and sayings. In this week’s programme John shares clips from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ’s Gaelic output which he uses to illustrate some of the complexities of the language, grammar help is on hand from resident expert Dr Michel Byrne and Roddy Maclean takes a look at some of Scotland’s Gaelic placenames.
The programme also features the first in a new series of traditional tales, presented by Mà iri Sìne Campbell who also chats to Ishbel Murray and recounts how she became fluent in the language.
