Clare Balding presents live coverage of the women鈥檚 individual time trial, where riders race over a specially designed 30km course from Ripon to Harrogate. The first 12km are relatively flat before competitors are greeted with undulating hills over the second half of the race.

The Netherlands have been the dominant force in women鈥檚 cycling in recent years and Annemiek van Vleuten led home a Dutch 1-2-3 at last year鈥檚 World Championships. There was another Dutch winner at the recent European Championships with Ellen van Dijk claiming gold and the nation鈥檚 riders have won over half of the women鈥檚 world tour event races this season.
