Myanmar's government wants Rohingya refugees to return, but can it guarantee their safety and way of life? Jonathan Head takes a rare trip to Rakhine state to see the government's resettlement plans for Rohingya Muslims currently living in Bangladesh. He finds a thin veil covering recent atrocities.

The recent exodus of Rohingya Muslims is not the only migration crisis currently affecting Bangladesh. In northeast India, in the state of Assam, there's been a drive to identify illegal immigrants. This has left nearly 2 million people without Indian citizenship and facing possible imprisonment, and deportation to Bangladesh. Rajini Vaidyanathan met some of the people now left stateless.

Spain鈥檚 northern Basque region has been largely at peace thanks to the end of a four-decade campaign of violence by the separatist group Eta, which disbanded last year. But not everyone is convinced the organisation鈥檚 influence has disappeared. Guy Hedgecoe reports from a small town in the northern region of Navarre, which has found itself at the centre of this suspicion following a rowdy bar fight back in 2016.
