In a follow-up to a series of documentaries she made in 1988, radio and TV producer Uzma Mir examines whether our attitudes to race and racism have changed over the last 30 years.

Radio and TV Producer Uzma Mir, examines whether our attitudes to race and racism have changed over the last 3 decades. In this programme, she compares the experiences of Scotland鈥檚 black and ethnic minority communities then and now when it comes to hate crime and institutional racism, and asks if Scots have a different outlook to those in the rest of the UK on race. Revisiting programmes she made in 1988, and catching up with some of those interviewed at that time, Uzma takes us on a journey to understand how far modern Scotland has come in discussing race.
