Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth picks his Rock God and Johnnie celebrates the rock history of the Reading Festival.

Swedish progressive rock band Opeth formed in 1989 and singer Mikael Akerfeldt is the longest serving member. He joined in 1992 and the band has been through many changes, both in personnel and in sound. The band's new album, 'In Cauda Venenum', is out in September and will be released as Swedish and English language versions. Mikael chooses a true British rock hero for his 'Rock God' - one that surprisingly hasn't yet been chosen on the show. Elsewhere, Johnnie highlights the rock history of the Reading Festival for 'This Week In Rock'. He'll also champion this week's new rock releases and give some well earned airtime to a slew of rock classics.
