A Derry woman whose son receives respite care at Owen Mor nursing home says she feels let down by its owners and the Western Trust. The trust phased in new admissions in the months after the regulator said in May that no new residents should admitted. Inspections of Owen Mor three months ago and again last week highlighted concerns about the standard of care. The regulator - the RQIA - has now formally stopped new patient admissions - the first time it has issued such a notice in Northern Ireland.
