As regular presenter Bob Harris takes a break, Trisha is the latest of his Nashville friends stepping up to cover for him, preceded by Kristian Bush, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town, and followed next week by Ben Earle of UK country duo The Shires.

Trisha Yearwood is one of country music's all-time greats, selling over 15 million albums worldwide and garnering multiple Grammy & CMA Awards over a career that began in 1991.

Since 2012 she has forged a second career as a TV cook, with her Emmy-winning series "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" and a series of best selling cookbooks, as well as regular appearances as a televison actor, most recently as Mary in "The Passion". She is currently touring the US with husband Garth Brooks, ahead of the release of her new album "Every Girl" in the autumn.

This is her Radio 2 presenting debut.
