Tom Ravenscroft sits in for Gilles Peterson and is joined by The Comet Is Coming. One of the best, if not the best, bands to come out of the burgeoning London Jazz scene over the last 10 years, the Mercury nominated band have now produced one the albums of the year in 鈥楾rust In The Lifeforce Of The Deep Mystery鈥�. Members Danalogue, Betamax, and King Shabaka followed 2016鈥檚 debut 鈥楥hannel the Spirits鈥� with even stronger ambitions that push the cosmic-Jazz sound to its limits. All three members are joining us today and sharing some of the sounds that have inspired them, and their latest work.
