Natasha鈥檚 keen to discuss the plans for the Orchard Village with Tom. Eddie鈥檚 been really enthusiastic about it, but Tom thinks involving the Grundys will spell failure for the project.
Clarrie and Eddie get ready for a night out at the open air cinema in Felpersham. Will鈥檚 disappointed that they won鈥檛 be able to help out with babysitting. Later, Clarrie and Eddie drive down to Greenwood. They left after the opening credits of the film because Clarrie had a feeling that something wasn鈥檛 right. Eddie receives a text from Natasha. He goes off to meet her, leaving Clarrie waiting for Will.
Eddie meets with Natasha, who tries to gently tell him that Tom and her would rather keep their Orchard Village bid in the family. Eddie doesn鈥檛 pick up the hint and thanks Natasha. He鈥檚 moved that they鈥檇 consider him part of the family. He proposes a toast to the Orchard Village.
Will comes into the house, carrying Poppy. He鈥檚 surprised to see Clarrie and tells her he only popped out for a minute. Clarrie isn鈥檛 fooled, she鈥檚 been waiting there for three hours. She knows he took Poppy to work with him. She鈥檚 spoken to Bev, who said she hadn鈥檛 heard from William in months. He can鈥檛 face the thought of Bev taking Poppy away. She鈥檚 all he has left. Clarrie makes him promise Poppy won鈥檛 go near his work again.
