Beverley Knight chooses the Tracks of My Years

Beverley Knight chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Annie Lennox & Aretha Franklin and Prince. There's the daily love song and another round of PopMaster

Beverley Knight, the multi-award winning singer and actress, is choosing the Tracks of My Years with music from Prince, Annie Lennox and Aretha Franklin. Born and brought up in Wolverhampton to Jamaican parents, Beverley has released eight studio albums to date and is widely regarded as one of Britain's greatest soul singers. She's best known for her hit singles "Greatest Day", "Get Up", "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" and "Come As You Are". This year she celebrates twenty-five years in music and come the autumn will be embarking on a ten date UK tour to honour the songs of Stevie Wonder. Having performed a special concert recorded for Radio 2's "Friday Night Is Music Night" series at the London Palladium last year, Beverley is set to take this same show across the UK with the Leo Green Orchestra to pay homage to one of the greatest songwriters of modern times.

Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
