American Band Mattiel join us live in session. Their new album Satis Factory is due for release 14th June via Heavenly Recordings.

The new album is an exploration of the constant search for self-gratification with singer Atina Mattiel Brown saying: " I鈥檓 happiest when I鈥檓 continually searching for that satisfaction even though I may never reach it. Because if I鈥檝e totally reached it, I know I鈥檓 doing something wrong. It means I鈥檝e become too comfortable鈥�.

The band have been delighting us here at 6 Music since they released their debut album in 2017 via Californian label Burger Records. With soaring smokey vocals and influences that range from folk to punk to hip-hop, this is definitely one to tune in for. Or download via 成人快手 Sounds so you can listen back later.
