Ibibio Sound Machine play live in session for Jo, with tracks from their recent third album Doko Mien - plus a vintage cover from the vaults.

Fronted by singer and lyricist Eno Williams, Ibibio Sound Machine are an eight-piece band from across the world who all came together in London and clash African and electronic elements in their music. The group's name comes from Eno's mother, whose native language was Ibibio, from the south-eastern part of Nigeria - which Eno also uses in her songs. The group released their debut self-titled album in 2014 and followed this with Uyai in 2017. Then earlier this year they released their third album Doko Mien, featuring the singles Wanna Come Down and Tell Me (Doko Mien). They will be touring the UK this October as well as performing at Glastonbury and other UK festivals.
