What’s your experience of care for people with learning disabilities or autism?

On today's Call You and Yours we're asking: What’s your experience of care for people with learning disabilities or autism?

The Care Quality Commission says children and teenagers are being sent miles from home to unsuitable mental health units where their problems get worse.

An investigation by the care regulator found children were being sent to units against their parents’ wishes. These units struggled to employ trained staff, and patients were routinely secluded, violently restrained and forcibly sedated.

The Health Secretary, Matt Hancock has ordered a urgent review of the worst 120 cases of segregation and seclusion and for an independent body to be set up to speed up discharges and improve the care system.
