Coleen Nolan

Coleen Nolan
Last year Coleen Nolan cancelled her solo tour after a spat on a live TV with fellow panellist Kim Woodburn. After the verbal bust up on ITV’s Loose Women, Coleen says she is enjoying her life as a mature single woman. It has just been announced that she will be joining the cast of The Thunder Girls which is billed as, ‘a true celebration of women’.  All four of The Thunder Girls actresses are over 50, one of the most under-represented demographics in the UK entertainment industry.  The show has a female writer, female producer and female director and all from working class roots – another area which is under represented in mainstream media.

Asma Khan

Asma Khan
Asma Khan is the first British Chef on Netflix’s, The Chef’s Table, and owner of Darjeeling Express, a highly successful Indian restaurant in Soho. Ahead of Ramadan, Asma has just returned from Jordan where she participated in a food distribution project with Syrian and Palestinian refugees. The packs include ingredients that are favourites in the Middle East. Asma will be meeting with women’s groups who support each other – her restaurant employs an all-female workforce.
