Jade Bird performs live in session with Jo, including a cover of a vintage gem from the vaults.

Jade is a singer-songwriter who was born in Hexham, Northumberland but moved around the UK throughout her early childhood as her parents were in the army, spending her teenage years in South Wales. She taught herself to play guitar aged 13, using her grandma's old acoustic, inspired by Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. She got into the Brit school and began gigging around London, getting picked signed by Glassnote Records. Her self-titled debut album came out on Friday, 19th April.
