Ricky Wilson sits in for Jo Whiley and is joined by Erasure frontman and actor Andy Bell straight from rehearsals on his new theatre production, Queereteria TV.

Queereteria TV is the third production in which Andy has played the character of Torsten, following Torsten The Bareback Saint in 2014 and Torsten The Beautiful Libertine in 2016. Torsten is described as 鈥渁 gender-fluid, semi-immortal who, having loved and lost many during an unnaturally elongated life, is left haunted by his lifetime of bittersweet memories.鈥� The play runs at the Above The Stag Theatre in London from the 10th to the 28th April. Andy is also releasing an accompanying album, Torsten In Queereteria on 12th April.

Alongside his stage work Andy is best known as the one half of Erasure with Vince Clark. Together they've sold over 20 million albums, five of which went to number one in the UK, plus 17 top ten singles.

Plus Ricky has handpicked music from all genres of the musical spectrum to keep you company in the evening. Tonight's tracks include a special version of 20th Century Boy by Marc Bolan and T. Rex, taken from their Record Store Day 2019 collection Bump N Grind.
