Action Fraud comes under criticism from victims who say they feel let down by the reporting agency. People who lose money to criminals, often online, say they report information to Action Fraud, to only receive automatic email responses, and no report of an investigation. We speak to Police Superintendent David Clarke who helped set up ActionFraud.

A gang of criminals who duped 拢37m from people using "copycat" websites has been told it must pay back millions of pounds they took. Peter Hall and Clare Hall from Hampshire set up dozens of websites impersonating official government services, such as passport applications and driving licenses. They then sold the documents to people for inflated prices. The pair were jailed earlier this year, but their sentence will be extended if they fail to pay back 拢6m.
