Mary Anne has a 3 Minute Epiphany from the artist, Arthur Jafa, whose critically acclaimed artwork 'Love is the Message, The Message is Death' will be presented at Tate Liverpool.

Arthur Jafa is an American artist and film maker who has worked with musicians and directors, including Stanley Kubrick, Spike Lee, Solange Knowles and Jay-Z.

'Love is the Message, The Message is Death' brings together visual clips from pop music videos, news footage, police cameras and a reoccurring image of the sun, all accompanied by Kanye West's track, 'Ultralight Beam'.

Jafa says of his work: "I have a very simple mantra and it鈥檚 this: I want to make black cinema with the power, beauty, and alienation of black music. That鈥檚 my big goal."
