Janice has live music from VanIves, Ross Ainslie & Ali Hutton with Jenn Butterworth and hears from Simple Mind's bassist Ged Grimes about composing music for the triumphant return of role playing video game ‘The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep‘.

She finds out about Thunderstruck, a play based on one of Scotland's most innovative pipers Gordon Duncan written by David Colvin and directed by Tom Freeman.

Plus, she meets the artists behind an exhibition which coincides with Celtic Connections; Perceptive Journey delves into the 'Celtic' in us all and showcases the work of three Scottish artists including Rosemary Beaton and June Carey who join Janice to chat about their work plus they review Danny Kyle's Open Stage, a nightly event taking place for the duration of Celtic Connections.

And winner of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio 2's Young Folk Award 2017 alongside guitarist Pablo Lafuente, Josie Duncan performs live.
