Belfast born producer Max Cooper provides our Friday mix and chats to Mary Anne about his new album, One Hundred Billion Sparks. To make the new album, Max spent a full month in complete isolation - no calls, emails, texts, social media, no human contact whatsoever - in a cottage in a remote part of Wales, in an attempt to explore what was left of him. Max also has a PhD in computational biology and his interest in science influences his music. Plus we make a special mixtape for a listener in our 'All My Friends' feature.
