Steve takes a look back at the past year and plays some of the sessions and interviews that graced the show over the past twelve months

Steve reflects on the year that's passed through the sessions and interviews from some of the bands and artists he's championed on the show. He also nods to the places the show has visited like South by South West in Austin, Texas, Independent Venues Week in Stowmarket, Guildford, Hebden Bridge, Leicester and Liverpool, Meltdown Festival on London's South Bank and broadcasting from a pod on The London Eye. From the sessions and interviews there's Franz Ferdinand at the beginning of the year, Jack White at the legendary Maida Vale Studios, Florence and The Machine in a stripped down session, Anna Calvi in the 6 Music live room and of course, it wouldn't be a look back at the year if Steve didn't play a session from these guys - Idles.
