Kate and Jason hear from one of the longest serving volunteers who supports the charity Crisis at Christmas.

The historian and author Neil Oliver joins Kate and Jason to take a closer look at the islands we call home. Neil has written, 'The Story of the British Isles in 100 Places' and he describes how physical and man-made landmarks have influenced our history, religion and national identity.

Classical pianist Alexis Ffrench plays live with his interpretation of some Christmas classics. Growing up, Alexis played piano in church and he tells Kate and Jason why he is keen to challenge the way people perceive classical music and make it more relevant for the society we live in.

On the third Sunday of Advent, Lou Fellingham, the Christian worship singer and songwriter tells us what Christmas means to her.

And we hear from one of the longest serving volunteers who gives their time to support the massive charity operation, 'Crisis at Christmas'. Over 11, 000 people volunteer to provide food and shelter for single, homeless people over the festive period
