The horror of Muckamore - we speak to the mother of one woman who was forced into the hospital's seclusion room

Desperate mum speaks out about care her daughter received at Muckamore Abbey Hospital for vulnerable adults - including being placed in a seclusion room.

We've had vulnerable old people abused and neglected in some care homes in NI. Now, the Health Service faces yet another, separate scandal. This time - it happened in a hospital for vulnerable adults with mental health issues: Muckamore Abbey. They put people with mental health problems into a seclusion room without monitoring them. People who needed our protection and care. Catherine is distraught at what happened to her daughter. She told Stephen about her daughter's stay in Muckamore Abbey, and we got reaction from Margaret Kelly - the NI Director of the mental health charity MENCAP – and Sinn Fein MLA Pat Sheehan.

Also on the programme, the Biggest Book Club in the Country is back! You can borrow all the books featured in our book club, from your local library. Today's book is 'The House Where it Happened' by Martina Devlin. Ruth Sanderson joined Vinny for the review.
