Theresa May will meet European leaders and EU officials later for talks aimed at rescuing her Brexit deal, after postponing her Commons vote on the proposals. The Prime Minister has said she needs "further assurances" about the Northern Ireland border plan to get backing from MPs. Reported in yesterday's Irish News, civil servants spent over 拢1000 on the treats for staff. The Universal Credit system has faced much criticism with concerns that thousands are worse off than before and the wait for initial payments is causing financial hardship.
