Tawny Owl populations are thought to be in decline and the British Trust for Ornithology is asking us to participate in a national study of them by listening out for their distinctive call this autumn and winter.聽 The survey runs from September to March, you don't have to listen every day but the BTO would love you to join inThe Right to Vote - it's a 100 years of votes for women this year and the National Trust are joining in the celebrations honouring a remarkable woman, who not only fought for the vote but was a major force in horticulture. We learn more about Laura McLaren, Lady Aberconwy who inherited the Bodnant Estate and left her mark on the famous gardens.
Autumn this year is expected to be glorious and long, due to the late Spring and hot summer.
