Sean Rafferty presents a lively mix of music, conversation and arts news. His guests include conductor Andris Nelsons, who'll be at the helm of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig when they give two concerts next week at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Also on the programme are singers and instrumentalists from English Touring Opera ahead of their triple bill of works by Purcell, Carissimi and Gesualdo which will be touring the UK throughout October. And with his new work Tristan and Isolde premiering at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall this week, jazz pianist and composer Julian Joseph performs live in the studio with acclaimed jazz singer Cleveland Watkiss.

English Touring Opera's singers are: Susanna Fairbairn, Benjamin Williamson, Richard Dowling, Jorge Navarro-Colorado, Frederick Long, Alison Manifold, Nicholas Mogg and Sky Ingram.
