John Maclean of The Beta Band talks to Mark and Stuart about The Three EPs

This month, The Beta Band's classic 1998 compilation album The Three EP's turns 20. John Maclean is here to tell Mark and Stuart all about it. The Three EPs album was, unsurprisingly, a combination of the band's first three EP releases - Champion Versions, The Patty Patty Sound, and Los Amigos Del Beta Bandidos. It gained even more notoriety after Rob Gordon, played by John Cusack, predicted he'd be able to sell five copies of the album by playing Dry The Rain in his record store in the 2000 film High Fidelity. John is himself no stranger to movies, having written and directed the acclaimed 2015 psychedelic western Slow West starring Michael Fassbender.
