RHI Inquiry back after summer break

RHI Inquiry back after summer break - and there will be a series of high-profile witnesses giving evidence on the botched green energy scheme.

Today sees the return of the RHI Inquiry after its summer break. Some very high-profile witnesses will give this evidence in the coming weeks including former DUP Minister Jonathan Bell, his special adviser at the time Timothy Cairns and former DETI permanent secretary Dr Andrew McCormick. Dr McCormick's witness statement was published online last night on the RHI Inquiry site. You can go and read it there. Amongst other things it reveals Jonathan Bell's special adviser, Timothy Cairns, raised allegations of bullying against Mr Bell, including a claim that he had tried to break his finger and had swung a punch at him. Andrew McCormick will give evidence to the RHI Inquiry later today. Stephen talks to the Newsletter's political editor Sam McBride.

Also on the programme, Claire, whose son Billy has autism, contacted the Nolan Show to take on the Education Authority over lack of school transport for her son - and got a result.

All that and more on the biggest show in the country.
