Leo Convery always 'hated the pen' until he decided to start writing at the age of 70. Pauline Hart was brought up in England, and followed her lifelong dream to move to Ireland.
Colum Arbuckle's guests this week are Leo Convery of Portglenone & Pauline Hart of Ballycastle.
After leaving school at the age of 14, Leo 'hated the pen' – until he decided to start writing his own stories and poetry at the age of 70.
Pauline was brought up by Irish parents in Shropshire, England, and later in her life, she decided to take the plunge and follow her lifelong dream to move to Ireland.
Patsy Cavanagh tells Colum about the song he composed – ‘³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ to Donegal’ which has since found worldwide success.
And this week’s reflection is delivered from Patricia Fawcett of Ards Writers who nostalgically looks back to the summer of 1968.
