Won't You Take Me to the Theatre?

Amy is joined by Amber Massie-Blomfield, author of Twenty Theatres to See Before You Die. The book shines a light on the most interesting and inspiring theatres across Britain.

Amy is joined in the studio by arts producer and non-fiction writer Amber Massie-Blomfield.

They'll be discussing Amber's new book, Twenty Theatres to See Before You Die, an adventure across Britain to find our most interesting, unusual and inspiring theatres.

There'll also be a Gallic tunage feature and some grooves to make you move.

A broadcaster, performer and writer, Amy has been a regular voice on 6 Music. As well as sitting in for Tom Ravenscroft, Lauren Laverne, Nemone and Steve Lamacq, she has also presented one-off specials. These include the Sunday Service slot last year, where she explored the music that led up to Gay Liberation in the late 1960s, the music that drove the movement forward and the songs that inspired her, as part of 6 Music's Loud and Proud season.
