Jessie Ware picks the Tracks of My Years
Jessie Ware, the UK singer-songwriter from London picks the Tracks of My Years. Ken also has another round of PopMaster and the daily love song.
Jessie Ware, the Mercury Prize nominated UK singer-songwriter from London picks the Tracks of My Years with songs from Sinead O'Connor and Stevie Wonder. Her third album 'Glasshouse' was released at the end of 2017 following the success of her critically-adored second album 'Tough Love', with two gold certified albums and over a million records sold worldwide. Jessie has spent the last three years working on 'Glasshouse' which explores the theme of family; both in the sense of Jessie's close team of long term collaborators and in the sense of the family Jessie has created with husband Sam and first child. Written between LA and London, the album contains collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Hugo and Felix White (The Maccabees), Julia Michaels, Ryan Tedder and a host of other friends and collaborators alongside Benny Blanco from what became the album's creative centre - his home in LA.
Ken also has another round of PopMaster, as well as the daily love song and record and album of the week. You can contact the show, just email - ken.bruce@bbc.co.uk.
