Charity volunteer for Grenfell, big wave surfer Al Mennie, a world marathon runner, tug-of-war
Red Cross volunteer Pearl Mullan talks about helping those affected by the Grenfell disaster and John has a go at tug-of-war.
It's Red Cross Week and John's joined in the studio by Pearl Mullan who volunteers with the charity. Last year she spent time helping some of those affected by the Grenfell Fire. Big wave surfer Alistair Mennie talks about his mental health book "Overcome or Succumb" inspired by learning to cope with anxiety and panic in pursuit of the biggest waves on the planet. Catherine Miskelly has successively run many marathons including the Abbott World Marathon where she's completed six of the largest most renowned marathons - even more amazing as four years ago she had never run a 5k. Local rock musician Rory Friers looks forward to The Biggest Weekend fringe events coming up, John visits Benburb's competitive Tug of War team and gets his shoes mucky in the process and Paula McIntyre cooks a cauliflower and potato Thai massaman curry to mark the start of vegetarian week.
