John Morrison interviews guests who witnessed major world events. In this episode, John talks to Michael Buchanan about the Libyan Revolution of 2011, an event which brought the rule of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to an end.
Michael was reporting from Libya for the 成人快手 at the time and witnessed much of the turmoil in and around the second city of Benghazi, where he saw how jubilant people were after freeing the city from Gaddafi's control. However, it was a dangerous and difficult environment to work in, with frontlines constantly changing and rebels handling guns and ammunition which they hadn't been trained to use. Michael recounts an incident where he himself faced danger when a hand-grenade went off in his hotel - but he emerged unscathed.
