Tha Fraoch Nic an De貌ir a 脤le a'tilleadh thugainn le sreath 霉r de "Dhealbhan Fraoich". An d脿 chuid a'd猫anamh dealbh agus a'cur cheist, tha i a'cruthachadh samhailean ann an dubh 's geal de Gh脿idheil air a bheil iomadh neach e貌lach - agus a't脿ladh bhuapa eachdraidh am beatha aig a'cheart 脿m!

Anns a'phr貌gram seo tha i a'dol a Bharraigh a choinneachadh ri M矛cheal MacN猫ill a bha bliadhnaichean m貌ra ag obair aig Caledonian Mac a'Bhruthainn. Ged nach aithnicheadh daoine aghaidh, tha iomadh neach air gach taobh dhen Chuan Sg矛th e貌lach air guth an sgiobair cinntich, a'cur f脿ilte orra air b貌rd. Tha M矛cheal ag innse do Fhraoch mun dl霉th dh脿imh a bh'aige riamh ris a' mhuir, agus an t-slighe a'lean e bhon iasgach, gu bhi na sgiobair air b脿t'-aiseig.

Islay-born artist Heather Dewar has had a love of portrait drawing from a young age and relishes the challenge of capturing someone's likeness. She travels to Barra to meet Michael MacNeil, who has worked for Caledonian MacBrayne for many years. While people might not recognise his face, many in the Hebrides will recognise his voice as that of the assured captain welcoming his passengers on board. Michael chats to Heather about his lifelong connection with the sea and his journey from fishermen to ferry skipper.
