Amber Rudd loses her job as 成人快手 Sec for not being across her ministerial brief - if it was NI would she have carried on?
Breaking news and hard-hitting talk as Stephen Nolan gets you talking about the big stories of the day.
So, the 成人快手 Secretary has gone. Amber Rudd was forced to resign last night after having to take responsibility for not being across her brief.
Some people argue that is the brutal nature of politics - that the buck stops with the minister.
This is a perfect opportunity to compare and contrast politics in Northern Ireland to Westminster.
Because of course Arlene Foster was also a minister here in our local government.
She says she bears no personal responsibility, despite admitting that she never read the full RHI legislation that she recommended to parliament.
She missed an email that a whistleblower sent to her warning her about RHI
She says the RHI story is a matter of deep regret politically and personally.
Plus, Charter NI Chief executive Dee Stitt has given an interview to the Newsletter over the weekend outlining proposals for a 5 point plan to help the UDA disband in East Belfast and North Down.
Proposals for the three year plan has been submitted to The Executive Office and it would involve a budget for CharterNI.
Dee Stitt told the Newsletter that it was "key" that there would be "transparency" and "accountability" around the process and it would effectively be "helping the UDA to move on"
Charter do not wish to make any further comment on this to the Nolan Show this morning.
Also, a supermarket is training up shop assistants to become "health food police" who will patrol aisles and steer shoppers away from junk food. The move will be rolled out at dozens of Waitrose stores across the UK this year, and is designed to encourage shoppers to load their trolleys with healthy options.
So is it something that you would like to see at your local supermarket or is this going too far?
And DUP leader Arlene Foster has accused the EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier taking an aggressive stance and failing to understand the position of unionists. However, instead of meeting Mr Barnier today to try and get him to understand the unionist position DUP MEP Diane Dodds has said she has prior engagements - she's basically too busy.
UUP MEP Jim Nicolson has also said he won't meet with Monsiuer Barnier as he visits Northern ireland today.
Instead, Sinn Fein MEP Martina Anderson has said she will make sure all unionist voices are represented.
