The British actor and singer, Paul Nicholas, remembers a short-lived career as a pop star in the 70s and finding success in musical theatre and film.

At the start of the decade, Paul was touring with Richard O'Brien in the stage musical 'Hair', before launching his film career with 'Stardust' in 1974 and The Who-inspired 'Tommy' in 1975. In 1976, he embarked on a short-lived but high-profile pop career, with three Top 20 hits in the UK Singles Chart: "Reggae Like It Used To Be", "Dancing with the Captain", and "Grandma's Party". He released the single "Heaven On The 7th Floor" in 1977 which only just reached the Top 40 in the UK, but peaked at number No. 1 in New Zealand and No. 6 in the US, giving Nicholas a gold record.

Also on the show, Johnnie uncovers the stories from This Week In Music and another classic seven-inch single enters Johnnie's Jukebox.
