They also go in search of the more traditional Dubai with a trip up the Dubai creek in an abra boat, hunt for bargains in the colourful souks and sample the sights, sounds and flavours of a desert safari. Back home, Mairead Ronan heads west to explore some of the hidden gems of Connemara.
