This morning on Nolan, Spotlight has further revelations after its investigation into a prolific paedophile priest - Malachy Finnegan - who abused boys in his care over four decades around Newry. Spotlight reporter Mandy McAuley joined Stephen live in the studio.

Also on the programme, figures from across unionism have united in a call for an inclusive debate on rights that crosses the sectarian divide. In an open letter signed by 105 men and women from academia, politics, sport, arts and law are challenging Northern Nationalists to discuss building a ''society for the betterment of everyone''. The letter is a response to two previous letters backed by Nationalists from all walks of life here which called on the Irish government to defend Irish citizens' rights in the North. One of the signatories - Ulster Unionist councillor Chris McGimpsey spoke to Stephen.

"Get it in to their heads that a unionist can be gay, atheist, pro-choice, pro-same-sex marriage, Catholic and from any ethnic background or race." That's the message from political commentator Alex Kane. Writing in the Newsletter the former Ulster Unionist Director of Communications says it's not too late to champion and reinvent unionism. It comes as we have been discussing that over 100 well known unionists sign an open letter arguing it's not only nationalists that care about rights and equality.
