Iron and Wine

Marc's invited Sam Beam onto the show to sing some songs - that'll be Iron and Wine.

Sam's current album is called Beast Epic and was written and produced by Sam himself.
It was recorded and engineered by Tom Schick at the Loft in Chicago in July 2016 and January 2017 and mastered by Richard Dodd in Nashville, Tennessee.

The musicians who played on the album include longtime Iron and Wine collaborators Rob Burger (keys), Joe Adamik (percussion, drums), and Jim Becker (guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin), along with bassist Sebastian Steinberg (Soul Coughing and Fiona Apple), and Chicagoan Teddy Rankin Parker (cello).

As it's a Thursday there will be an appearance from Rob Hughes with a music paper of his choice for the Parallel Universe. Rob takes Marc on a journey into the musical past as they dissect a long ago copy of The NME.
